R&D in Architecture #01: Turkish Antarctic Research Station*


ITU Polar Research Center (PolRec), Research Station Working Group Coordinator Yuksel Demir will share their research regarding the establishment of Turkish Antarctic Research Atation (TARS) and his impressions about the 2.nd Turkish Antarctic Expedition (TAE II).

*The studies to be presented in the first seminar were conducted between 2015-2019 under the auspices of Presidency of Turkey, the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and coordination of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Polar Research Center (PolReC)

In the second seminar to be held in June 12, 2020; The R&D studies conducted for The Turkish Antarctic Research Station, in Digital Architectural Design Studio 2019-2020 Spring Term, under the supervision of Yuksel Demir and Mine Ozkar, in ITU Institute of Science & Technology, Architectural Design Computing Master Program, will be shared.
