Dilara Tekin Gezginti

She received her BA degree in Architecture at the University of Mimar Sinan followed by a MA degree from Istanbul Technical University with a thesis titled “Objectification of the ‘House’ in Modern Culture: Reading through the Subject.”
She worked on various different scale architectural projects ranging from housing to hospital and factory buildings.
In 2015 Dilara co-founded Atölye Mil, a platform that focuses on the research of the intersection between architecture, art and production with Eda Özgener. Within Atölye Mil she organized many exhibitions, workshops and panels in collaboration with institutions such as Pera Museum, Istanbul Research Institute, Studio-X, Design Atelier Kadıköy, Koç University and Sanatatak.
In 2018 her research project with Eda Özgener “A Look at the Circus Culture through the Case of Rıfat Telgezer: A Spatial Reading” received Salt Research Fund.
In 2019 she was responsible for the research, curation and design of the exhibition “Looking from In-Between: A Section of Meşrutiyet Street” at the Istanbul Research Institute.
Dilara continues her PhD studies focusing on the theoretical and practical dimensions of exhibition design.
